SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it is actually alarmed concerning the higher amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office devoted to service the area on a regular basis. The service level designed for intervention encounters a large influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tough for that office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA sassa status check will mobilise far more methods to empower the servicing of all shoppers and enhance use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
